Brasil Design Award chega a sua 8ª edição mais abrangente e inclusivo
Para se consolidar como a maior e mais importante premiação do design nacional, a 8ª edição do Brasil Design Award traz algumas novidades.
A primeira delas é que, agora, qualquer empresa do país pode inscrever seus projetos de design. Além disso, o prêmio conta com um corpo de jurados composto por 150 especialistas representantes do design brasileiro e de setores afins.
Outra novidade é que o BDA, geralmente realizado apenas pela ABEDESIGN, ganha em 2018 um correalizador que vem para fortalecer o movimento de abertura da premiação: a Printi, a maior plataforma de produtos personalizados do Brasil.
A enorme e rica diversidade cultural do Brasil faz com que o país tenha projetos de design muito distintos entre si, cada um com suas características e possibilidades. Pensando justamente em unir a grande comunidade de designers brasileiros e dar destaque para os trabalhos feitos por aqui, o Brasil Design Award mudou a sua proposta neste ano e assumiu um novo formato, bem mais abrangente e inclusivo.
As mudanças chegam para criar uma ruptura com o modelo realizado por sete edições, desde 2009. A ABEDESIGN selecionava projetos a partir de seus desempenhos em outras premiações nacionais e internacionais de design, e de apenas três categorias: comunicação, embalagem e produto.
Como era antes
Em 2009, a Associação Brasileira de Empresas de Design (ABEDESIGN) começou a realizar a premiação com o objetivo de reconhecer e destacar a capacidade criativa e inovadora do design na economia nacional. Durante sete edições, todos os projetos indicados foram selecionados, sem inscrições, a partir de seus desempenhos nas principais premiações nacionais e internacionais de design, em três categorias: comunicação, embalagem e produto.
As categorias
Como um prêmio abrangente e inclusivo do design nacional, o BDA passa a ter 10 categorias principais divididas em 78 subcategorias:
- Branding
- Design Gráfico
- Craft for Design
- Design de Ambiente
- Design de Embalagem
- Design de Impacto Positivo
- Design de Produto
- Design de Serviço
- Design Digital
- Design Editorial
Como se inscrever
Trabalhos desenvolvidos entre 2015 e 2018 podem ser inscritos, desde que efetivamente implementados no mercado. Os melhores de cada subcategoria ganharão medalhas de ouro, prata e bronze, e haverá 10 troféus exclusivos – o Grand Prix – para os maiores destaques de cada categoria principal.
Além disso, o BDA vai disponibilizar todos os projetos em seu site oficial (www.brasildesignaward.com.br) para votação popular online, e a empresa que receber o maior número de troféus Grand Prix será premiada com o troféu de Empresa do Ano do Design Brasileiro.
As inscrições e o envio dos trabalhos, assim como a avaliação dos jurados, serão feitas pela internet. Basta acessar o site do BDA e comprar um crédito para cada projeto que a empresa quiser cadastrar em uma subcategoria.
Estes são os valores para inscrição de projetos (cada projeto, em cada categoria, precisa de 1 crédito):
Associados ABEDESIGN: R$ 150,00/crédito
Associados de entidades parceiras: R$ 190,00/crédito
Empresa de Design/Empresa Cliente: R$ 215,00/crédito
A data limite para se inscrever é 16/09 e a cerimônia de premiação acontece em São Paulo, no dia 22/11.
