Red Bull – até onde vai a política idiota de marcas da Rede Globo?

na Fórmula 1, a Globo chama a equipe Red Bull Racing de RBR. o quê?! que diabos é RBR? é uma cria da Globo. a emissora tem uma política interna de restrição de marcas, portanto se recusa a dizer o nome das marcas que patrocinam e dão nomes a equipes ou locais.

agora o caso do futebol. a Red Bull comprou um time e vem trabalhando nele há algum tempo, com o objetivo de disputar os principais campeonatos do Brasil. o time chama-se Red Bull Brasil, e em 2015 vai disputar a Série A do Paulistão, jogando contra os gigantes Corinthians, Palmeiras, Santos e São Paulo, vai estar na tv no horário nobre dos jogos do país, com muita exposição. e como a Globo resolveu chamar o time em sua partida contra o Palmeiras? RB Brasil.

a história para por aí? não. além de mudar o nome do time, forçando os narradores esportivos a se virarem para não falar Red Bull, a Globo teve a audácia de ALTERAR O ESCUDO DO TIME. isso para mim é um absurdo. apagar do escudo o nome da marca que dá nome ao time. veja como ficou na transmissão, e no destaque o escudo original:

eu sempre serei contra este tipo de política idiota. em primeiro lugar, porque a construção de uma marca vai muito além do logo e do nome. as pessoas entendem os touros vermelhos do escudo, sabem que são da marca de bebida energética. e ouvir uma coisa como RB Brasil desperta a curiosidade, o que será esse RB do nome? o resultado destas ações geralmente levam a uma exposição exagerada sobre o assunto, pelo simples fato de ser algo ridículo, aumentando a percepção positiva sobre a marca que sofreu e aumentando o ódio pela marca que fez o ato negativo. este próprio post não citaria a atitude grosseira da Rede Globo se ela não existisse. a Red Bull comentou, em entrevista ao UOL, que não se importa e já sabia que isso poderia acontecer, mas que a marca vai muito além disso, de ter o nome exposto na transmissão. que ótimo!
